- Photography has always been a passion of mine but I've always taken the practical route. I did the college thing, graduated, and had jobs along the way that paid the bills and were sort-of what I want to do. I worked as a photo lab technician, printing and perfecting other photographer's images for 8 years. I've also worked as a custom framer, designing and framing other artists' photographs for 4 years. And I've even worked as an Event & Wedding Planner for nearly 3 years assisting the contracted wedding photographers when I was needed. But it wasn't until I worked in the wedding industry that I truly began to realize that I really missed taking pictures. I would constantly see the "perfect shot", or the light would hit a wedding detail just right and hated that my business attire didn't include having my SLR with me to capture that moment. That's when I really knew that I needed to get back to my passion, photography because that's when I'm the happiest.
